Protection of Monuments, the Federal Government, federal states and municipal
associations in Berlin. The
Coordination Office expects about 500 projects and about 1,000 events in Germany
throughout the year.
The
ceremonial inauguration of the European Year took place on January 8, 2018 in
the Grand Hall of the Town Hall in Hamburg.
Six
schools connected in a regional network were given the task of becoming
acquainted with and interpreting the role of monuments and historic buildings
in the urban space. Teams
will learn about the cultural heritage of their city as part of the history of

The month of December marks the 100th anniversary of the death of William Heerlein Lindley. We will celebrate it together with the inhabitants of Ochota, the district most connected with the creators of our sewerage and waterworks system as well as the plan of our city.
On December 6 we will be hosted by the Library "Under the Wings"
located at ul. Grójecka No. 109 (corner of Dickens street). The most convenient
connection - tram no. 9.
In December members and friends of Societas Lindeiana gathered for the last meeting in 2011.
It has been a good year for The Lindley Association. We have celebrated 125 years of water supply in Warsaw (actually first running water in Warsaw homes). We have also taken part in the conference on president of Warsaw Starynkiewicz, a friend and supporter of the Lindleys . Both events have been documented by publication of books. We have shared with you all the details of those remarkable achievements of our Society.
The time has come to wish you all, Dear Friends,
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND PROSPEROUES NEW YEAR 2012 !
For those of you missing the December snow we onclose nostalgic picture from the Lindley times.
