William Heerlein Lindley prepared for this exhibition as befits such famous engineers. A pavilion specially opened for the occasion housed an exhibition of plans and models, and next to it was a "Model of a building presenting a navigable canal with a flushing device and buttresses". He also prepared a publication in Polish that popularized fifty years of experience in the design and implementation of municipal sewage and water supply works in an accessible way. The exhibition catalogue contained 138 items, of which numbers 42 to 93 concerned Warsaw. The Lindleys considered the work on water and sewage systems in Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Warsaw, Elberfeld, Mannheim and Hanau to be the most important of their achievements. The catalogue also contained a four-lingual explanation of "the typical construction of a navigable canal", carried out in Hamburg in 1842, Frankfurt in 1865 and Warsaw in 1882.

2016 was another good year for our Society. In September we took part in the 130-anniversary of the Water Supply Company in Warsaw. We have published the W.H. Lindley Plan of 1912 Warsaw, very important for Warsaw after war destructions. It is a collector item.
We wish you all:
Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year 2017
